Opening Statement

This statement, herein after referred to as the “Privacy Policy” is used to describe how Pixel-Earth.com (herein after referred to as the “Site”) collects, uses and / or shared with 3rd parties the personal information of the customer (herein after referred to as “the Customer”).

Personal Information The Site Collects

When the Customer visits the Site, the Site automatically gathers specific data regarding the device used, including details related to the web browser, the IP address, time zone, and additionally information related with the cookies of that device. As the Customer browses through the Site, information related to the individual web page or products that the Customer might view, websites and keywords that have driven the said search to the Site, and details about how the Customer interacts with the Site can be obtained, for informational purposes and for utilizing this information for the customers’ better shopping experience. This type of information is called the automatically-collected information herein after referred to as “Device Information.”  

The site gathers Device Information with the usage of the following technologies:   – “Cookies”are traces, or data files, that remain or installed on one’s device according to the search, browsing, history of their device and browsers. – “Log files” is an extension of the automatic file that contains an activity sheet for certain software and operating systems. They are images / pictures (often translucent) that are part of websites and they are used by the Site to record details on how the Customer browses and utilizes the Site.

Moreover, when the Customer places an order or attempts purchasing through the Site or Site’s subsidiary channels, the Site collects information of the Customer, including their first and last name, their billing address and shipping addresses, payment information (Credit Card numbers and PayPal information), email addresses, and phone numbers. These information are referred to as “Order Information.”

When we inform about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are referring to Device Information and Order Information.

How The Site Uses Your Personal Information

The Site uses Order Information that are collected to process any orders placed through the Site (including validating your payment information, manage shipment of orders, and to provide you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:   – Establish communicate with you   – Scanning of orders for potential risks or fraud   – As per the customer’s provided info, to share information on related products.   We use the above mentioned Information, to help us identify possible fraudulent attempts or orders and overall to improve and enhance the Site (ie. by creating analytics on how the customer browses and interacts with the Site, and to evaluate the success of the Site’s marketing and advertising campaigns).

Sharing Your Personal Information

We share your Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above but no sensitive information such as Payment information or Shipping addresses are given. Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.   An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.   For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Data Retention

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Minors

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18.

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
